Sandra Marey, M.Ps.
I am a neuropsychologist with more than 14 years of experience, mainly in France. Since my arrival in Montreal in July 2023, I have undertaken an equivalence course as a candidate to obtain the title from the Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ), a process which was concluded successfully.
My academic background includes a Master II in "Clinical Neuropsychology, Perisurgical Evaluation and Cognitive Rehabilitation" from the University of Lille, supplemented by a rich experience of internships in specialized establishments in France (head trauma network, medical action center). early social, memory consultation, as well as neuropsychological assessments at the Lille University Hospital, particularly in the neurology department).
Committed to continuous development, I have also completed advanced training in Neurofeedback (Dr Brendan Parsons, 2017-2018) and Neuro-Nutrition (Dr Olivier Coudron, 2020-2023), aiming to integrate innovative approaches into my clinical practice .
My career has focused on neuropsychological assessment and intervention with a deliberately varied clientele, covering pediatrics, pediatric neurology, brain-injured adults and geriatrics. I also had the opportunity to carry out psychotechnical assessments for driving with the prefecture, to carry out cognitive assessments in the geriatrics department and to participate in an epidemiological research protocol on aging (Etudes de 3 Cités, INSERM, CNRS).
During the last eight years, I have carried out part of my activity at the University Hospital Center (CHU) of Dijon in pediatrics and neuropediatrics, treating children and adolescents in the context of various medical problems: epilepsy, brain tumors (oncology), vascular accidents, genetics, diabetes (endocrinology), cystic fibrosis, prematurity.
The second part of my activity was carried out in my private practice, receiving people of all ages confronted with cognitive, emotional or behavioral challenges which influenced their personal life, their academic success or their professional career. I now hold a practice permit issued by the Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ), ready to put my skills at the service of the population of Montreal and its surrounding areas.
